Happy Thing: Do A Paint by Numbers
So, maybe I’m an oddball, but I have never tried to do a paint-by-numbers before. I figured I was better than that. But then, this year is all about trying NEW things and being open to surprises. While working on and finishing this dolphin picture I realized this isn’t so much of a *happy* thing… it’s much more a thing to *pass the time*. And my perfectionist self was struggling to have fun with this. In the end, I’m giving this 1 solid star because it may make someone else happy and my mom really loves the painting, so I have a great GIFT for her that I hadn’t planned on. Ultimately I’m glad I tried it and can now say I have done at least one- even if I never, ever do one again.
